29 Dec Looking from a different angle
Yoga offers many benefits. One of them, which I found useful in my therapeutic work, is that it give you techniques that enable you to look at changes from a different angle. How we relate to change, and how we understand change, is often at the base of inner conflicts. Perhaps rather its how we don’t relate to it, and don’t understand it that creates the intrinsic turmoil. How we then deal with them, are the consequenses of how we judge our thoughts, feelings and actions. Practising yoga regulary offers continues oportunities to look at the changes happening within. And with the continuety of observation comes naturally the ability to perspectivize the changes you experience.
We might say that practising yoga is a manner to practise the ability to be sensitive or to detect intrinsic changes.
So now when the new year is just around the corner, a transformation from the old to the new, what kind of thoughts are going through your mind? And how do you feel about it? Do you have any new year resolutions? And if so, why?
Enjoy some new year reflections;)
