06 Nov The Mirror of Yoga
Richard Freeman is a very special yogi, dedicated in practice for more than 40 years. Many of my own teachers has followed his teachings, and I look forward to one day meet him aswell.
His book ‘The Mirror of Yoga’ (2010), Shambala Publications, Inc is like a long awaited relief! I’ve just started reading it, and I find it engaging and clear. Freeman explores what yoga is and he writes beautifully. The language is easy, which enable the reader to understand and follow all the threads of a complicated field of knowledge. He moves so easily from he different layers of experience: in theory, comtemporary language and mystical terminology. You can read excerpts from the book here:
